Overview:
We are seeking a talented and proactive Onsite Freelance iPhone Videographer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for attending events, capturing high-quality video content using an iPhone, and delivering the footage to our team within 24-48 hours. This role requires a creative eye, quick adaptability, and a passion for storytelling through video.
Key Responsibilities:
• Event Coverage: Attend assigned events on time to capture video content using an iPhone, focusing on key moments, interactions and ambiance that align with the event’s theme and objectives.
• Content Capture: Utilize the iPhone’s features to record videos in various formats (e.g., slow-motion, time-lapse, standard video) to provide diverse footage options.
• Storytelling: Ensure that the captured content tells a cohesive story that resonates with the intended audience, highlighting the event’s essence.
• Timely Delivery: Deliver and edit (if required) the captured content to the team within 48 hours of the event. Ensure that all footage is organized and labeled appropriately for easy access.
• Client Interaction: Maintain a professional and presentable appearance at all events. Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients and event attendees, representing our brand positively and fostering strong relationships.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team to understand the event’s goals and the type of content required. Take direction from the Content Director or Creative Lead to ensure consistency with brand standards.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all video content is of high quality, with proper framing, lighting, and sound capture, even in dynamic and challenging event environments.
• Equipment Management: Ensure that the iPhone and any additional accessories (e.g., gimbal, microphones) are fully functional and prepared for each event. Maintain and care for the equipment provided.
• Adaptability: Be ready to capture content in a variety of settings, including indoor and outdoor locations, under different lighting and weather conditions.
• Respect and Confidentiality: Show respect for the privacy and preferences of clients and event participants. Maintain the confidentiality of the events and content, ensuring that all footage is handled with discretion and shared only with authorized team members.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in videography, particularly with an iPhone.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to capture and edit video content, especially event coverage.
• Proficiency in using iPhone video features and mobile editing apps.
• Excellent eye for detail, composition and storytelling.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the creative team and interact professionally with clients.
• Presentable and professional appearance, with a focus on maintaining a positive and respectful demeanor.
• Flexibility to travel to various event locations as required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to transport equipment safely.
Compensation
• Hourly rate: $25-$35
